Microsoft Corporation has acquired Softomotive, a software robotic automation platform, for an undisclosed amongst. CEO Satya Nadella confirmed that Softomotive would become part of Microsoft’s Power Automate platform.
The RPA technology that Softomotive has built helps businesses to improve performance by automating, repetitive, time-consuming tasks. Softomotive currently has about 9,000 customers worldwide and its ‘WinAutomation’ platform will be freely available to users of its ‘Power Automate’ product.
The deal realised strong returns for Grafton Capital investors. Grafton Capital first invested in Softomotive in September 2018, and was the first and only outside investor.
