Daniel Cheung
Investment Director
Daniel is responsible for Grafton’s sourcing activities, developing new investment opportunities, as well as providing support to our portfolio companies. He joined Grafton Capital from Downing Ventures, where he led deals in SaaS, Fintech and Digital Media businesses, and held board positions at Vivacity Labs, Funding Xchange, ABAKA and JRNI.
Prior to Downing Ventures, Daniel brings corporate finance experience from his time at Arma Partners, the tech M&A advisory boutique, where he was involved in several well publicised technology transactions. He began his career as an analyst in mid-cap private equity buyouts at European Capital.
Having co-founded a Fintech startup before embarking on his investment career, Daniel brings his own insight to tech entrepreneurship, and first joined Grafton in 2021. He holds a Masters in Economics and Management from the London School of Economics and is a keen sportsman, musician and once played Chess for England.
